 Can I attend both weddings?
Absolutely! We’d love to have you join us for both special moments if you’re able. Each celebration holds a unique part of our journey.

Where is Archers Post?

Archers Post is a rustic, picturesque town located in Samburu County, Northern Kenya. It’s near the Samburu National Reserve and about 6–7 hours by road from Nairobi.

 What’s the weather like in December?

Expect hot and dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 34°C (77°F to 93°F). We suggest packing light breathable clothes, sunscreen, mosquito repellents and sunglasses!

Do I need a visa to enter Kenya?

  • Most international visitors require a Kenyan eVisa, which can be applied for at https://evisa.go.ke

  • Citizens of East African countries do not need a visa.

Is Archers Post safe?

Yes, it is generally safe. We’ve coordinated with local hosts and guides to ensure guest safety. Just like any rural area, we advise avoiding late-night solo travel or isolated areas. We are kindly asking our guests to arrive in Archer’s Post before 5pm.

What’s the best way to get there?

  • From Nairobi:

    • By road: A scenic 6–7-hour drive.

    • By air: SafariLink and AirKenya Charter flights from Wilson Airport (Nairobi) to Kalama Airstrip (closest to Archers Post).

Yes! We’ll have group transportation between selected lodges and the wedding venue.

Yes, we’d love to celebrate with those dear to you. Please include your plus one in your RSVP.

Where is Kapchorwa?

Kapchorwa is a stunning highland town on the slopes of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda. It’s about 5–6 hours’ drive from Kampala and known for its serene scenery and elite long-distance runners.

 What’s the weather like in January?

January in Kapchorwa is dry and mild, with temperatures between 15°C and 25°C (59°F to 77°F). Pack light layers — a sweater for evenings and comfy walking shoes for daytime activities.

Do I need a visa to enter Uganda?

 Is Kapchorwa safe?

Yes, it’s a calm and welcoming town. As with all travel, use common sense and move in groups when exploring.

How do I get to Kapchorwa?

  • From Entebbe/Kampala:

    • Drive (5–6 hours) through Jinja and Mbale.

  • Kapkwai Cottages (rustic and charming)
